A search of President Joe Biden’s vacation home in Delaware by the FBI on Wednesday found no classified documents.
According to the Associated Press, agents did take some materials and handwritten notes that date back to Biden’s eight-year tenure as vice president.
In recent weeks, classified documents were found at the homes and/or private offices of Biden as well as former president Donald Trump and former vice president Mike Pence.
Higher (but smaller) interest rate hike
A quarter-point increase in interest rates was announced Wednesday by Federal Reserve System officials.
According to The New York Times, it was a smaller increase than those done previously and could be an indication that it’s believed that inflation may be starting to slacken. The new rate is in the area of 4.5 to 4.75 percent.

Sports: Tom Brady to hang up cleats
Tom Brady, believed by many to the greatest quarterback in pro football history, announced on Wednesday his retirement from the game.
In a video posted on Twitter, he said, “I’ll get to the point right away. I’m retiring. For good.”
At age 45, Brady is expected to do football analysis for Fox Sports. In the 23 years of his NFL career, he won seven Super Bowl titles, six with the New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Weather: Cloudy but warmer
It won’t exactly be a heat wave, but the West Orange County area should experience a warming trend for the next few days. The forecast calls for Thursday to have partly cloudy skies and a daytime high of 68, with an overnight low of 48. Friday will also have partly cloudy skies, but the daytime time high is expected to rise to 72 (45). Saturday will have more partly cloudy skies with a high of 71 and a low of 50.
