A note in McRae’s pocket made threats against schools in New Jersey.
President Joe Biden mentioned the incident in a speech, saying, “We have to do something to stop the gun violence that’s ripping apart our communities.”
All of the persons shot were students at MSU. The five wounded students remained in critical condition.
Dianne Feinstein won’t run again
Long-serving U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein announced on Tuesday that she would not run for re-election in 2024, concluding a career representing California since 1993.
Feinstein, 89, a Democrat, will finish out her term.

Sports: Clippers defeat Warriors
The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Golden State Warriors 134-124 Tuesday night and improved their position in the Western Conference playoff race.
Kawhi Leonard scored 31 points to lead the Clippers (32-28), followed by Paul George with 20 and Terance Mann with 16.
Jordan Poole had 28 for Golden State (29-29).
