A Georgia grand jury has rebutted claims of widespread election fraud in the 2020 presidential voting in that state, and indicated it saw what might be perjury by “one or more” witnesses who testified before the panel.

The New York Times is reporting that a report released on Thursday included recommendations on “indictments and relevant statutes” based on the allegations of perjury.

While most news reports saw danger for former president Donald Trump and allies in the grand jury’s findings, Trump claimed  the grand jury had provided them with “total exoneration.”

Biden: Three objects likely not spy balloons

The last three mysterious objects shot down by U.S. fighter jets were probably not Chinese spy balloons, according to President Joe Biden.

According to United Press International, Biden said, “We don’t yet know exactly what these three objects were … but nothing right now suggests they were related to China’s spy balloon program or that they were surveillance vehicles from any other country.”

The objects might be devices made by private firms for creation or weather study, he suggested.

Sports: Clippers beat the Suns

The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Phoenix Suns 116-107 on Thursday night to move within one game of the Sacramento Kings in the race for first in the NBA Pacific Division.

Paul George scored 26 points for the Clips (33-28) and had six rebounds and five assists. Terrance Mann also had 26, along with four rebounds and three assists.

With the win, the Clippers leapfrogged into second over the Suns (32-28), who slipped into third.
