A “new” Mexican restaurant could be coming to Harbor Boulevard in Garden Grove.

On Thursday July 6, the city planning commission will be holding a public hearing on a request by Sabroso! Mexican Grill for a site plan and conditional use permit for the operation of a restaurant at 13091 Harbor Blvd. at the southwest corner with Garden Grove Blvd. in an existing 2,780-square foot pad. To be added is a 927-square foot patio dining area.

It’s a move from a smaller nearby location.

The applicant is also seeking a new alcohol license.

Also on the agenda is a public hearing on a one-year extension on a previously approved site plan and tentative tract map to divide an existing 47,284-square foot lot at 11712 Lampson Ave. (between 9th Street and West Street) into four residential lots to be served by a private road.

The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave.
