THE CORONAVIRUS numbers for Orange County continue to show decline in new cases (Shutterstock).

Confirmed new cases of coronavirus in Orange County declined for the second consecutive week.

Statistics released on Thursday by the county health care agency showed that new cases were at 371, down from 428 the week before and 2,522 on June 21.

Deaths were at seven, down from 10 last week and seven the week before.

To date, the total number of confirmed cases is at 726,167 and deaths at 8,232.
