To develop a comprehensive Vision Zero safety action plan to improve traffic safety and prevent traffic deaths, Stanton will receive $160,000 from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Also receiving funding will be Anaheim and Santa Ana.

Rep. Lou Correa (D-Santa Ana) said, “Those who call Orange County home know that our community chronically lacks access to grass space, which means our children spend less time outside.” The funding provided though this bill would “make it safer and easier to walk and bike to school” as well as parks and other recreational opportunities.

“Christmas came early to our town,” said Stanton Mayor David Shawver.

Anaheim received $980,000 and Santa Ana $651,200.
