A 46-year-old motorcyclist from Midway City is dead after a traffic collision on Monday in Huntington Beach.

According to police, the incident took place around 9 p.m. on Gothard Street north of Center Drive (near Golden West College) where the motorcyclist – a man who had been riding a red Harley Davidson cycle – was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of a blue Honda Civic, a 66-year old Huntington Beach woman, was uninjured. She remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The Honda driver did not appear to be impaired; it’s not known if the motorcyclist was impaired.
