Clips, Lakers swept Thunder

The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder Tuesday night 128-117 to improve their record to 26-14, good for fourth place in the NBA Western Conference.

Paul George led the team with 38 points, adding seven rebounds and five assists. James Harden and Kawhi Leonard each had 16 points.

Unable to score, the Anaheim Ducks lost 2-0 to the Washington Capitols on the road Tuesday night. The loss dropped the Orange County team’s record to 15-28-1 and seventh place in the NHL Pacific Division.

On Monday the Anaheim Ducks defeated the Florida Panthers 5-4 in overtime on the road Alex Killorn scored the winning goal in OT.

The Los Angeles Kings were at home when they defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 5-2. Trevor Moore scored twice in the win, helping to snap an eight-game winless streak.

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 112-105 on Monday. Anthony Davis scored 27 points and LeBron James had 25.
