Just when you thought Garden Grove had every fast food place in the universe, here comes another.
When the planning commission meets on Feb. 15, it will hold a public hearing on a request for a site plan and variance for a Pollo Campero outlet on the south side of Chapman Avenue, east of Harbor Boulevard.
PMDG, Inc. is proposing to construct a 1,977-square foot restaurant pad building with a drive-thru lane. The existing building there will be demolished.
Pollo Campero serves fried and grilled chicken, salads and sides. It originated in Guatemala in 1971.
The commission will meet in the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave. at 7 p.m.
