Two transients have been arrested in connection with vehicle burglaries in the hotel district of Garden Grove.
According to the GGPD, investigation by the Resort Unit and detectives identified a suspect vehicle, a 2019 black Mazda CX5.
On Monday morning police located that vehicle and contacted two suspects, Trayvon Smith and Amber Roque. A search of the vehicle found numerous stolen units, say police, which are related to several burglary cases throughout Southern California.
The suspects were arrested and booked on various charges. The investigation is ongoing and anyone who was a victim of a similar crime or has information on the case, contact Detective F. Avalos at franciscoa@ggcity.org .
