Budget adjustments of city funds go before the Stanton City Council, which meets on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
According to staff reports, revenue for all city funds is increasing by $4.2 million while expenditures are up by $4.6 million. About half of the revenue increase – $1.7 million – is investment income.
General fund income is up $2.1 million and housing authority revenue by $280,000, but its expenditures are up by $4.3 million, mostly for relocation expenses for residents of the Tina Pacific affordable housing project.
Also on the agenda is an extension of an interim city ordinance for a temporary moratorium on any new tobacco retailer businesses, or expansion of existing tobacco sellers.
The council meets in City Hall at 7800 Katella Ave. (west of Beach Boulevard).
