Firearms, Fords and furniture were all on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the Garden Grove City Council and they were all approved.

The city council voter in favor of:

• a purchase order for 15 AR-15 rifles – a civilian version of the standard U.S. military rifle –for the Garden Grove Police Department;
• a purchase order to buy two new Ford pickup trucks for the city at a cost of $306,984.66. They will be used for Animal Care Services.
• a contract to Office Environments for purchase and installation of furniture, fixtures and equipment for the Central Cities Navigation Center for the unsheltered.

The next city council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 24 at 5:30 p.m.
