Huntington Beach police detectives have arrested a 27-year-old man for attempted murder.

Taylor Cosner, a Huntington Beach resident, was taken into custody on Thursday in connection with an incident on Wednesday night. An adult victim was found with non-life threatening gunshot wounds in the area of Maddox Drive and Sabot Lane at around 8:30 p.m.

The victim was taken to a local hospital.

Police say he told them his attacker was not known to him.
