The Pacifica High School softball team is one win away from playing for the CIF-SS Division I championship.

After defeating Oaks Christian of Westlake Village 13-2 on Thursday, the Mariners (25-2) will host JSerra (18-13) of San Juan Capistrano in a 3:15 p.m. semifinal contest on Saturday.

In Thursday’s game, the Mariners combined strong pitching with robust hitting en route to their 10th consecutive victory.

Kaniya Bragg went 4-for-5 with a home run, five RBIs and three runs scored. Michaela Meza was also 4-for-5 with four runs scored a triple and two RBIs.

Delaina Maae was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a RBI.

In the pitcher’s circle, Brynne Nally worked six innings, giving seven hits and two earned runs.

The Mariners and Serra Lions have met earlier this season, with Pacifica posting a 2-0 win on Feb. 17.

In another D-1 CIF-SS quarterfinal game on Thursday, Huntington Beach (18-8) lost 12-0 to Mesa High (25-3) of Murrieta.

The Rams will host Orange Lutheran (18-3) and the winner of each semifinal will meet on May 18 for the title.
