OCFA CREW rescued a man injured and stuck in a tall free on Saturday afternoon in Garden Grove (OCFA photo).

It’s not just cats that get stuck in trees.

A man working in a tall tree in the 10600 block of Archcraft Avenue (northeast of Nutwood Street and Allen Drive, near Evans Elementary School) was injured Saturday and the Orange County Fire Authority was summoned at 12:03 p.m.

The Engine 82 crew found the man about 25 feet up. The crew used their ground ladders to reach the man and began care in the tree. With the help of Anaheim Fire and Rescue, firefighters were able to lower the patient, who was further treated and escorted to the hospital by OCFA Truck 81’s firefighter paramedics.
