The ERP rewards schools with placement on the California Honor Roll who have outdone their peers in closing “achievement gaps” between groups. Special emphasis is placed on districts where students learn skills employers are looking for.
Twenty-nine GGUSD schools were named to the California Honor Roll, including 17 elementary schools, nine intermediate schools and three high schools (Garden Grove, La Quinta and Pacifica).
The GGUSD serves most of Garden Grove and parts of Anaheim, Fountain Valley, Santa Ana, Stanton and Westminster.
