Public hearings on the proposed annual budget and initial contract proposals from the school district to employee groups top the agenda for the Garden Grove Unified School District Board of Education meeting on Tuesday night.
The board will consider the proposed budget for 2024-25, and hear the GGUSD’s contract proposals to the California School Employees (classified employees such as bus drivers or food service workers), Pupil Personnel Services Association (counselors and psychiatrists) and Education Association (teachers and other faculty).
Additionally, there will be a presentation of an initial contract proposal from the Supervisory Unit (site supervisors).
The GGUSD serves most of Garden Grove as well as parts of Anaheim, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Santa Ana, Stanton and Westminster.
There is a closed session at 5:05 p.m., a study session on ethnic studies at 5:45 p.m. with the regular meeting at 7 p.m. at 10331 Stanford Ave., Garden Grove.
