A “PERSON OF INTEREST” has been identified in the death of a woman in Huntington Beach (Shutterstock).

A “person of interest” has been identified in a homicide that took place on May 31 in Huntington Beach.

According to Jessica Cuchilla of the HBPD, that person is Christopher Mendez, 35, of Diamond Bar. He was in a dating relationship with the victim, Nicole Marquisee, 35, of Walnut.

The incident took place in the 1100 block of England Street.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call Detective R. Chen at (714) 536-5653.
