A SUSPECT has been arrested in a May 31 homicide in Huntington Beach (Shutterstock).

With bail set at $2 million, the suspect in a murder in Huntington Beach on May 31 faces arraignment on Tuesday.

According to the HBPD, detectives arrested Christopher Mendez, 35 of Diamond Bar on Friday while trying to re-enter the U.S. from Mexico.

Mendez is wanted for the shooting death of Nicole Marquisee, 35, of Walnut on England Street in Huntington Beach.
