
A 28-YEAR-OLD San Clemente woman has died after her vehicle struck a traffic signal pole in Huntington Beach (Shutterstock).
A 28-year-old San Clemente woman has died from injuries sustain during a traffic collision on Thursday night in Huntington Beach.
According to Jennifer Carey, public affairs manager for the HBPD, the incident occurred at around 11 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway at Newland Street.
Officers arriving at the scene found the driver in a 2019 Toyota Corolla. She was taken to a local hospital but was ultimately pronounced deceased. Whether she was driving impaired isn’t known at this time.
The investigation indicates that the driver was traveling northbound on PCH and veered from the roadway at Newland, resulting in the Toyota striking a traffic signal pole.
