An update on the status of the city’s biggest ever-civic development tops the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the Garden Grove City Council.

A presentation will be made on the status of the under-construction $132 million Civic Center Revitalization Project, which includes the construction of a new multi-story police facility and attached parking structure as well as a new park in the area northwest of Euclid Street and Acacia Parkway.

Also on the agenda are:
• Community Spotlight in recognition of the accomplishments and achievements of the Garden Grove Unified School District in 2024;

• extension for another six months with Silverstone Property Management Company for services at the Central Cities Navigation Center for the unhoused;

• a public hearing of an amendment to increase the annual contract amount with West Coast Arborist Inc. by $350,000 and the adoption of a resolution establishing a new city tree removal fee.

The council will meet at the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave. at 6:30 p.m.
