When the CIF-SS girls basketball playoffs start on Thursday, seven teams from schools serving our West Orange County cities will be there for the tip-off.

Here are the first round pairings for our locals.
• Division 2A: Marina at Valencia
• Division 3AA: Huntington Beach at Immaculate Heart
• Division 4AA: Silverado at La Quinta
• Division 4A: Orange at La Mirada
• Division 5AA: Avalon at Westminster; Perris at Los Amigos.
• Division 5A: Southlands Christian at Bolsa Grande.
