Nine local high school boys basketball teams have qualified for the CIF-SS playoffs starting on Wednesday, and one of these is seeded number one in its division.

Garden Grove (15-13) is top-seeded in Division 4A. Pacifica is second in Division 4AA and Western (10-15) is fourth in Division 5A.

Here are first round pairings for teams serving our West Orange County cities.
• Division 1: Edison at Crespi
• Division 4A: Alhambra at Garden Grove
• Division 4AA: Santiago at Los Amigos; Providence at Pacifica
• Division 5AA: Webb at La Quinta
• Division 5A: Arroyo at Western; Bolsa Grande at Packinghouse Christian; Duarte at Orange.
