Firefighters with the Orange County Fire Authority do a lot more than put out fires, provide medical aid and rescue cats from trees and fences. On Friday at 6:24 p.m. a call was received of a man trapped between a residential wall and a commercial wall in the 13300 block of Beach Boulevard in Westminster. The man was unable to extricate himself, so the OCFA technical rescue team, using a technique called a “high point” rescue, was able to lift the man to safety uninjured.
