A special meeting of the Huntington Beach City Council has been called for today (Tuesday) to ask for help in how to conduct a special election.
The council will consider a resolution asking for “additional direction” from the Orange County Registrar of Voters on handling a special election scheduled for June 10, 2025.
Two voter initiatives regarding the policies and administration of the city’s library system will go before city voters on that date.
The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers at 2009 Main Street.
