Are the Los Angeles Dodgers, who started the season with a record eight straight wins, finally cooling off?
On Monday night in Washington – after a visit to the White House – the Blue Crew suffered its second straight loss and third in four games as they fell 6-4 to the Nationals.

Shohei Ohtani had a great game, batting 3-for-4 with a single, a triple and a homer for two RBIs. He raised his batting average to .311 and he’s now hit four homers for the Dodgers so far in 2025.

But the game’s key blow came on a two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh by the Nationals’ James Woods.

The loss dropped the Dodgers to 9-3 and into third place in the NL West.

The Blue Crew will face the Nats again in Washington on Tuesday with Justin Wrobleski (0-0) making the start for the visitors.

Florida wins NCAA men’s hoops crown

The Gators and the Cougars each finished the season with 35-4 records.

ALSO on Monday, the Los Angeles Kings lost 2-1 to the  Seattle Kraken, while the Anaheim Ducks defeated the Edmonton Oilers, 3-2.
