The place where they know what a hamburger is all about is ready to get bigger.
At the May 1 meeting of the Garden Grove Planning Commission, there will be a public hearing on a proposed expansion of the In-N-Out burger restaurant at Trask Avenue and Magnolia Street.
The applicant – In-N-Out Burgers, Inc. – is asking for approval of a site plan and lot line adjustment to construct a 778-square foot freestanding outdoor dining patio at the location. The project will include the reconfiguration of the existing drive-thru lane and parking area.
To accommodate that will require the demolition of the existing vacant Mae’s Cafe building.
Also before the commission will be a request for approval of a site plan to add 1,806 square feet of building area to an existing industrial building at 7191 Acacia Avenue (at Pala Drive).
The commission will meet in the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave. at 7 p.m.
