A SANTA ANA man was arrested for attempted homicide in Garden Grove (Shutterstock).

A 29-year-old Santa Ana man was arrested on Saturday after he allegedly stabbed a man in Garden Grove

According to Sgt. Josh Olivo of the GGPD, the incident took place in the area of the 11000 block of Walden Circle (south of Katella Avenue between Euclid and Brookhurst streets).

Officers were dispatched at around 10:30 a.m. and located a man with several stab wounds to his torso and one to his neck. They rendered medical aid until Orange County Fire Authority personnel arrived.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was listed stable condition and is expected to survive. Police say the incident stemmed from an “altercation” between the two men.

Arrested was Randy Van Bach, who was located nearby and taken into custody. He is charged with attempted homicide.
