The annual Garden Grove State of the City event held on Wednesday at the Hyatt Regency Orange County hit many high notes.

Singing the National Anthem was Emma Monaco, while Mayor Stephanie Klopfenstein delivered a “State of the Union” address that brought the audience of several hundred people to their feet.
