An aggressive attack by firefighters quickly contained a house fire in Garden Grove on Tuesday.
According to the Orange County Fire Authority, which provides fire and paramedic service to Garden Grove (as well as Stanton and Westminster), the call came in at 3:01 p.m. regarding a blaze in the 13000 block of Monroe Street, between Beach Boulevard and Newland Street.
Firefighters were able to confine the fire to the home of origin and kept it from spreading to nearby houses.
There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
