Firefighting crews were busy on the Fourth of July, and one of the major blazes was in Stanton.
According to the Orange County Fire Authority, a blaze Friday night hit a condominium complex in the 7100 block of KeltonWay (east of Knott Street and south of Katella Avenue).
The fast-moving blaze engulfed a two-story unit and threatened an adjoining unit.
The danger resulted in a second alarm, which summoned 50 more firefighters in addition to the original crew from Station 46. They were able to stop the fire from spreading. Two residents were transported to the hospital for evaluation.
