POLICE are investigating a stabbing homicide in Santa Ana (Shutterstock).

Detectives are investigating the stabbing murder of a man in Santa Ana on Monday.

According to the SAPD, the incident took place in the area of 2400 S. Evergreen St., near Warner Avenue. Officers responded to a 9-1-1 call at around 11:09 p.m. and upon their arrival, found an unresponsive adult male – later identified as Ricardo Villegas Narvaez, 44, – in the street suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Orange County Fire Authority paramedics responded snd transported the man to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives are seeking to identify and contact witnesses who can provide information about the homicide. Anyone with relevant information is asked to call the SAPD Homicide Section at (714) 245-8390.
