Vikings, Chargers post wins

A fourth quarter touchdown lifted Marina to a 21-17 win over Pacifica on Friday night.

The Vikings are now 3-1 and will play another non-league game next Thursday against Esperanza (1-2).
The Mariners (2-2) take on Aliso Niguel (2-1) next week.

Edison (3-1) rallied from a 20-7 third quarter deficit to defeat the Palos Verdes Sea Kings 21-20 with two late touchdowns.

The Chargers will play their traditional rival Fountain Valley (1-3) next Friday.

The La Quinta Aztecs (1-1-1) suffered their first loss of the season, falling 19-8 to Mountain View. Next up for the Blue and Gold is a non-league game against Glenn (2-2) of Norwalk.

Ocean View improved to 2-1 with a 35-13 win over Anaheim (1-3). The Seahawks will take on Santiago (1-3) next week.

Orange (3-1) rolled to a 44-0 win over Paramount. Sophomore quarterback Star Thomas passed for 274 yards and four touchdowns in the win. He also rushed five times for 88 yards for the Panthers, ending up with 362 yards total.

Riding a three-game winning streak, Orange will go for four straight next week against winless Redondo Union’s Seahawks (0-3).

Rancho Alamitos (2-1) suffered its first loss of 2025, falling 31-13 to Saddleback. The Vaqueros take on Godinez Fundamental (1-2) next week.

The Los Amigos High football team improved to 3-1 on Thursday night with a 14-12 non-league win over Nogales at Bolsa Stadium.

Next up for the orange-and-black is a road trip to play Eisenhower of Rialto. The Eagles are 1-2.
