‘Consequences’ for those cheering Kirk’s death

JD VANCE being sworn in as vice president (WIkipedia).

A campaign to demand consequences for anyone who cheered the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk was advocated Monday by Vice President JD Vance.

“When you see someone celebrating Charlie’s murder, call them out,” said Vance on a podcast, according to the Associated Press. “and hell, call their employer.”

Also targeted would be those who fund liberate causes. In some red states investigations have been launched of teachers accused of “inappropriate comments.”

“The government involvement in this does inch closer to looking like McCarthyism,” said Adam Goldstein of the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression. “It was not a shining moment for free expression.”
