Have you ever wondered just what might be great to eat around town without actually driving all over town?
An opportunity presents itself this Friday when the second annual “Foods of Garden Grove” event takes over the Village Green park in downtown.
Three dozen local eateries – with a wide array of cuisines, tastes and traditions from the all-American hamburger to exotic flavors from around the world – will offer samples of their best.
It’s fine cuisine, sandwiches, beers, BBQ, desserts, soups, seafood, baked goods, tacos and more reflecting the cultural diversity of Orange County’s fifth-largest city.
The event will run from 5:30 to 9 p.m., with ticket booths opening at 4:30 p.m.
Admission is free and the accompanying music concert is, too. Tasting tickets must be purchased separately. Many have already done their pre-sale, but you can buy tickets at the event.
The fun pack buys you five tastings for $15; foodie pack is 10 for $30; the family pack is 20 for $45 and the VIP lounge pack is 16 tastes and bite-sized appetizers for $75 (must be 21 and claim wristband).
