Several “political” items are on the agenda for Wednesday’s meeting of the Westminster City Council.
In additional to several pages of “housekeeping” items which include an update on the Central Cities Navigation Center for the homeless, the council will consider:

• a resolution to support the use of voter identification;
• a resolution “opposing VietRISE’s Promotion of Communist Propaganda in Little Saigon and Reaffirming the City’s Commitment to Historical Truth and Freedom,” and
• a resolution “opposing any actions that dishonor the American flag.”

Additionally, the council will consider an item continued from the Sept.10 meeting considering the removal from office of Planning Commissioner Tony Bui, and also his removal from the Citizen’s Oversight Committee on Measures Y and E.

The council will meet in open session at 6 p.m. in the Rose Center Theater, 14140 All American Way.
