Tattoos are popular today. Will they be popular with the Garden Grove Planning Commission when it meets next week?
The panel will hold a public hearing on a request for a conditional use permit to allow operation of a new 1,449 square-foot tattoo business in an existing multi-tenant commercial shopping center at 9757 Garden Grove Blvd. (at Galway Street).
Also on the agenda is a public hearing on a request for an interpretation of use to determine the compatibility between indoor playground facilities and the C-1 zone subject to a conditional use permit.
The CUP would allow a new 10,132-square foot indoor playground facility on the west side of Valley View Street and south of Lampson Avenue at 12491 Valley View St.
Finally, the commission will review as an item for consideration a tree removal application for an address at 12411 Pine St.
The commission will meet in the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave., at 7 p.m. on Oct. 2.
