The Orange County Tribune wishes a happy Veteran’s Day for all our readers, their families and fellow Americans. We honor those who wore the uniform, made the sacrifice and defended our democracy. From 1775 on, our men and women under the Stars and Stripes – of all backgrounds, races and creeds – freed us from colonialism, ended slavery, defeated fascism and prevailed over Soviet communism.

We thank you and honor your service, wherever and whenever it may have been.
