1 % pay raise OKd by board

A 1 percent pay raise, effective July 1, 2025 was approved for a variety of employees at Tuesday’s meeting of the Garden Grove Unified School District Board of Education.

The vote was 5-0.

Some employee groups will also receive a one-time 1% off schedule salary increase in base pay for the 2025-2026 fiscal year at year end.

The board’s action included ratifications of tentative agreements with various employee groups including classified employees and the GGUSD supervisory unit, as well as salary increases for members of the board of education, classified substitutes, tutors and college workers, management employees and others.

The district serves most of Garden Grove and parts of Anaheim, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Santa Ana, Stanton and Westminster.
