A request to form a city council ad hoc committee on the city’s branding, merchandising and related topics goes before the Huntington Beach City Council when it meets on Tuesday.
Mayor Casey McKeon is asking for a three-member council committee to evaluate responses for a city-issued request for proposals from firms to “build creative direction strategy, branding, merchandising, media, communications and film industry development systems.”
The council panel would evaluate completed RFPs and report back with a recommendation to the whole council within 30 to 45 days.
The city council will meet in closed session at 4 p.m. and in its regular meeting at 8 p.m. at the Council Chambers, 2000 Main St.
