Proposed pay increases will go before the HBUHSD board

Salary increases for district administrators and others in upper management will go before the Huntington Beach Union High School District Board of Trustees when it meets on Tuesday evening.

Also before the board will be ratification of a contract with the Huntington Beach Pupil Services Association (including counselors).
The HBPSA contract calls for a 3.5 percent increase retroactive to July 1, 2025, as well as a 0.75 percent increase effective July 1, 2026 for the 2026-27 school year.

Salary increases for administrators including assistant superintendents, superintendent, classified management confidential employees and the board of trustees will be 3.5 percent retroactive to July 1, 2025 and a 0.75 percent increase effective July 1, 2026 for the 2026-27 school year.

The board will meet at the district office, 5832 Bolsa Ave., Huntington Beach with a closed session at 4:30 p.m. and the regular session at 6 p.m.

The HBUHSD serves Huntington Beach and parts of Fountain Valley and Westminster.
