“ZOOTOPIA 2” will on Thursday will kick off the summer’s movies and music in the Westminster Sunken Gardens in the Civic Center (Walt Disney Co.).

The 2026 season of movie nights and summer concerts in Westminster begins this week.

Sponsored by the City of Westminster and held in the Civic Center Sunken Gardens, the first film will be “Zootopia 2” on Thursday, July 9.

Movie night activities start at 6:30 p.m., with the film beginning at 8:15 p.m.
The rest of the movie schedule is:

•Thursday, July16: Angels in the Outfield.
• Thursday, July 23: The Incredibles.
• Thursday, July 30: Cars.

Concert activities start at 5:30 p.m. with the concerts at 6:30 p.m.
• Thursday, Aug. 6, The Brightsiders (90s to 2000s rock).
• Thursday, Aug 13: Surf City All-Stars (Beach Boys tribute).
• Thursday, Aug. 20: Jelly Boyz Band (country, rock and pop).
