It’s not yet the Los Angeles Angels’ worst season ever, but you can see it from there.

“There” being Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas on Tuesday night where the Halos suffered an 8-3 loss to the Texas Rangers for their sixth defeat in a row.

With the loss, the Angels’ record dropped to 36-56. That’s a win percentage of .391, the worst in Major League Baseball.

If the team continues on this course, it will beat the old record of 1994, when the team went 47-68, for a win percentage of .409

After seven innings on Tuesday, the teams were tied 3-all, but the roof fell in on the Angels in the eighth, which yielded five runs. The key hit was a three-run home run by Alejandro Osuna.

Rockies 4, Dodgers 3: In a reversal of fortune, the last place team in the National League defeated the best team in baseball.

The Blue Crew had two runners in the bottom of the ninth at Dodger Stadium. With two out, Freddie Freeman was at bat but he struck out swinging.

He otherwise had a good night at the plate, going 2-for-5. Alex Freeland was even better, batting 3-for-4 with one run scored and one batted in. Shohei Ohtani was 1-for-4, but that included a first inning home run. He now has 20 homers.

The Dodgers are 60-33 and lead the National League West by 14 games. The Rox are 38-55 and in fifth in the National League West.
