Just about the only thing the Los Angeles Rams did wrong in their “bounce-back” game against the New York Giants on Monday was wearing those garish yellow highlighter uniform jerseys.

Other than that, the Rams looked worlds better in the 28-6 win than they did in the 27-7 embarrassing loss Down Under last week.

Although Matthew Stafford had an outstanding game – 22 of 31 passes for 327 yards and four touchdowns – much of the attention was focused on defensive lineman Aaron Donald, back in a Rams uniform (although an ugly one) after a two-year hiatus.

“Just he, the human being, the player, all of it combined, what he brings to our team and to our locker room is unmatched,” said Stafford.

Donald only played about one-third of the snaps, but made his presence felt with three tackles, including one for a loss.
Also catching the eye was Davante Adams, who caught eight passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns.

The Rams (1-1) – in less blinding uniforms, we would hope – will be back in action on Sunday when they visit the Denver Broncos (1-1).
