Three people were hospitalized late Friday night after a multiple auto collision in Huntington Beach. According to police, the crash took place around 11:45 p.m. in the area of Newland Street and Talbert Avenue.
Investigation indicates that one vehicle was southbound on Newland with another westbound on Talbert. The autos collided in the intersection, and the struck a third vehicle, which was stopped for a red traffic signal.
One driver suffered major injuries and was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange in critical condition. Another driver and a passenger were taken to local hospitals with moderate injuries, and the third driver was uninjured. No citations have been issued and no arrests made.
