A spectacular fire behind the Walmart department store in Westminster Friday night attracted the attention of the Westminster Police Department and the Orange County Fire Authority.

According to authorities, the blaze was reported at 9:44 p.m. at the store at 13331 Beach Blvd., at Trask Avenue. The fire was located in the rear alley and consumed pallets and trash, with flames rising higher than the roofline of the building.

There were no injuries and the OCFA is investigation the incident as a possible arson.
