A MAN and a child are dead in Garden Grove Saturday morning.

A man and a child are dead after a possible murder-suicide in Garden Grove Saturday morning in the 12400 block of Meade Street. According to Lt. Tom DaRe of the GGPD, police were sent to the scene at 8:58 a.m.

Before officers arrived, a citizen pulled a 7-year-old child out of the house, and police quickly tried to revive the youth. The child was taken to a local hospital but was pronounced dead there by medical staff.

Officers entering the house found the body of a man. The investigation is continuing and more information is expected to be available later.
