A motorcyclist was critically injured Wednesday evening in Garden Grove when he was struck by an automobile. According to the GGPD, the incident occurred just before 8 p.m. just south of the intersection of Harbor and Garden Grove boulevards.
The cyclist suffered what were called “life-threatening injuries” and after treatment by Garden Grove Fire Department paramedics, he was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange.
Police say the driver of the auto remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Drugs or alcohol don’t appear to be involved. The investigation was completed by the GGPD’s Neighborhood Traffic Unit.
