Shop owner is robbed and stabbed

Wielding a knife and a hatchet, three robbers attacked a business owner and stole from his store early Saturday afternoon in Garden Grove. According to police, the incident occurred in the 12300 block of Westminster Avenue around 12:08 p.m.

The suspects – described as young male Hispanics wearing dark clothing – entered the business, armed with the weapons. A fight ensued and the owner suffered multiple wounds. After grabbing items from the store, the three fled on foot.

The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to an area hospital in serious condition. An investigation is continuing.
