THREE male juveniles were arrested Tuesday evening in connection with the armed robbery of man in Garden Grove.

Three youths were arrested Tuesday evening near Morningside School in Garden Grove on charges of the armed robbery of a man, according to police.

The incident occurred around 7:40 p.m. near the elementary school, located at 10500 Morningside Dr. A man called police to report he had been robbed at gunpoint by three persons described as male Hispanics.

While officers were responding to the area to investigate the matter, three boys fitting the suspect’s descriptions were found nearby and detained. A replica handgun was discovered, along with personal property belonging to the victim, according to Lt. Tom Da’re of the GGPD.

The three were taken to Orange County Juvenile Hall. The investigation is continuing, as police believe there may be other victims in the area who have not come forward out of fear of retaliation.
